It hasn’t happened all too often in the past few years, but I’ve seen bits and pieces of stuff like that on my dash. But most people generally agree that it is silly!

Less support for the POC who cosplay characters like Twilight Sparkle, though. : ( Not to say that people calling “whitewashing” on Korra cosplayers doesn’t happen, but it’s really not that common.

More like it’s happened never do you know how many times I have encountered people getting on POC’s asses for cosplaying a white person and bringing up all kinds of goddamn slurs LITERALLY EVERY ONE I HAVE SEEN

Has it occurred to ANYONE THAT THERE ARE NO “”“”“MINORITY”“”“” CHARACTERS EVER. AND THUSLY, POC ARE AFRAID TO COSPLAY. FOR GOOD REASON, SEE POINT 1,.,.,.

No one represents characters of color and when they do do something, they’re ridiculed and dehumanized to a fucking joke. There was a black Tomb Raider going around one time and do you KNOW how many people did something like say “Latifica Croft” or some shit on it. A lot. A FUCKING LOT.

Meanwhile, white people dress up as japanese people all the goddamn time AND NO ONE GIVES A SHIT.

This shit doesn’t happen. Who the fuck WOULD do this—what fucking blasiantinowhatthefuckever would actually say something is racist. It’s not like we go to cons in fucking droves so we can GET support if we do say something is racist. So, what, we’re gonna cry this shit in front of a bunch of white people?

This post is basically fucking stupid and wrong.
